guineapiggin9 New pug puppy...any tips? Oct 10, 2007 5:23 PM Hi guys!! Since it appears that all of you in this group have pugs I have afew questions for you all. I just a got a pug puppy named Angus. He's 11 weeks old and BEYOND CUTE. I love him already, but he is my first dog. I was just wondering if you had any tips on training him or anything else that you think might be helpful for training my new baby. Thanks! atomicanne Rose: Pug of the week Sep 5, 2007 1:02 PM Rose is my pick for pug of the week. She is a sweet girl who is available for adoption thru the South East Pug Rescue. The SEPRA site says... Rose Hi! My name is Rose, or Rosie. My foster mom says I’m as pretty and sweet as a rose. I’m smart, too. I’m completely housetrained; I can sit, stay, and come; and I know exactly where all the treats are in the kitchen! Right now I’m recovering from a low-grade case of heartworm disease. I don’t really have any symptoms but my foster mom is keeping me quiet and making me rest a lot. I need to gain some weight anyway, so I guess that’s OK. It’s hard, though, because I want to play with my foster sisters so bad! I love to go outside and I especially love to ride in the car. I’m 7 years old and very playful. (I don’t think I look or act that old, if I do say so myself.) I really like it here but I can’t wait to get to my forever home. If you’re looking for an adorable, loving, obedient, easy-going Pug who likes to be with you wherever you go, I’m the one for you!
